This is the follow-up to our May 2026 status update. In May we said the next update would follow within 4–6 weeks. It comes later than that: we chose to wait until the certification described below had a final result, rather than publish an update with nothing new to report.
What's true today
- Online ordering is not yet enabled. The site does not take payments and does not accept orders yet.
- The site is available to browse. More than 7,000 products in Serbian (Latin), English and Simplified Chinese.
- Contact channels are open. Email (
[email protected]), the contact form (/contactus), and the chat assistant in the bottom-right corner.
What has been completed since May
- Our own fiscal software is certified. In Serbia, every sale must produce a fiscal receipt that is reported to the Tax Administration (Poreska uprava) at the moment of sale. The program that issues these receipts is called an ESIR (elektronski sistem za izdavanje računa). AdriaMart built its own ESIR for online sales instead of using a third-party service. The Tax Administration certified version 1.0.0 in July 2026.
- Advance-payment receipts are approved. With online card payment, the customer pays before the goods are shipped. Serbian rules require an advance receipt (avansni račun) at the time of payment and a final receipt when the goods are handed over for delivery. We extended our software to version 1.1.0 to cover this flow, and the Tax Administration approved it on 2 October 2026.
- Production security element received. Each fiscal receipt is digitally signed with a security element issued by the Tax Administration for the registered place of business. Ours was issued in August 2026.
- Fiscal module installed on the platform. Since 15 October 2026 the fiscal module is part of the live site. It remains switched off until the final checks below are complete.
- Payment and delivery. The card payment integration with Raiffeisen Bank (RaiAccept) is built and has been tested. The delivery integration with Pošta Srbije (Post Express) is installed and in final setup. Both will be switched on together with fiscal receipts, not before.
- Platform maintenance. In October 2026 we updated the platform's core software and tightened security on the site.
What comes next
- The 2 October approval becomes final after the standard 15-day legal period.
- Final review with our accountant of the tax records and the bookkeeping for advance payments and refunds.
- Switch card payment to live mode and verify the whole chain end to end: payment, advance receipt, shipment, final receipt, refund, and bank reconciliation.
- Open online ordering to all visitors.
Our target is to open online ordering in the second half of November 2026. This is a target, not a fixed date: each step depends on the previous one, and we will open ordering only after the whole chain, including refunds, has been verified. The opening will be announced here. Either way, the next status update will be published here by 30 November 2026 at the latest.
Thanks for visiting AdriaMart.
